FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s your approach?

I always give my best at every shoot – because each one means something special to the people in it. It’s not just about pretty photos, it’s about telling your story and capturing memories that might be shown to grandkids one day. Whether it’s a wedding, a family day, or a big life moment, I want the images to feel real and full of emotion. The kind of photos you’ll want to frame and always remember.
How long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been professionally photographing weddings, families, and special events for over 13 years now.
Are you insured?

Yes, I’m covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I’m also fully DBS checked.
What kind of equipment do you use?

I use the latest professional mirrorless full-frame Canon cameras and prime lenses. Every photo is saved on two separate in-camera memory cards for instant backup.
And when I’m back home, I back everything up twice more – just for that extra peace of mind.
Do you travel for sessions?

Yes! I’m based in Liverpool and Wirral, and I cover the surrounding areas including Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, and beyond. I also photograph destination weddings and events across the UK and abroad.
Can I gift a session to someone?

Yes, you can! I offer beautifully designed gift certificates that make perfect presents for birthdays, holidays, baby showers, anniversaries – or just because. You can choose the amount you’d like to gift, whether it’s a family shoot, baby session, or even part of a wedding package.
How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and busy seasons like summer or Christmas. Weddings and special events should be booked several months ahead to ensure availability.
Do you take late notice bookings?

Last-minute bookings can sometimes be accepted – feel free to check in with me!
What’s the payment process?

Once you decide to book, I’ll send over a booking link for bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit secures your date, and the remaining balance is due before the session. Final payments can be made by bank transfer or in cash.
How do we receive our photos?

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download as many times as you like, and share your photos with family and friends.
If your package includes printed photos or a USB, I’ll let you know once they’re ready for delivery or collection.
How many photos will we receive?

It depends on the type of session and the package you choose. For example, mini sessions include a set number of edited images, while full sessions and weddings come with a larger selection. I always aim to deliver a beautiful and generous gallery filled with the best moments.
What’s the turnaround time for photos?

I usually deliver full galleries within 10–14 working days for most sessions. For weddings, the full gallery takes up to 8 weeks – but I always send a sneak peek a few days after your big day, just to give you that lovely first look!
A faster turnaround is sometimes available for an additional fee.
Do you deliver RAW or unedited JPEG files?

No, I don’t deliver RAW or unedited JPEG files, as they don’t reflect the final quality and style of my work. I believe in giving you the best version of your memories – a polished, cohesive gallery that’s ready to enjoy or print.
How do you handle bad weather for outdoor shoots?

If the weather isn’t looking great, we can either reschedule or move the session to a covered or indoor location. Your comfort – and the quality of your photos – always comes first.
What if we’re late to the session?

I understand life happens! If you’re running late, just let me know as soon as possible. We’ll still make the most of the time we have left. Just keep in mind that arriving late might affect the number of photos we can capture.
Can I request specific shots or poses?

Absolutely! I love when clients bring ideas. You’re always welcome to message me to share your vision, preferences, or any must-have shots – I’ll make sure we include them.
How long do you keep the shots on file?

I don’t ever delete them so if you want extra edits in the future it's no problem.
When should I book my session? When to book my maternity session? When to book newborn session?

I recommend booking in a maternity session at least 6-8 weeks in advance. Aim to have the shoot when you are around 28-34 weeks pregnant.

For newborn shoots, this is personal preference. Again try and book the shoot in the diary once you know your due date. I recommend booking the session for when your baby is around 2 weeks - 1 month old.

The best time to book your maternity session would be between 28-34 weeks and smaller tummy mums may want to wait a bit, until 36-37 week. The most important thing is to come around when you feel good, not too late, when being uncomfortable might stop you from enjoying this experience.

To avoid disappointment it's best to contact Aggie when you are halfway through your pregnancy (20-24 weeks) to make sure your due date gets pencilled in Aggie's diary. Please contact Aggie again within 48 hours after your baby arrives.
Do you take late notice bookings?

Unfortunately I tend not to take bookings with less than a weeks notice, however please still get in contact to see what can be accommodated
How can I order additional products?

Aggie offers archival quality prints, fine art prints, framed prints, prints on wooden blocks, professional canvases and books. Aggie updates her products range form time to time. You will receive a PDF with all the products and pricing upon booking. All the products are display in Aggie's studio. You can make your purchase on the day of your session (we will design the purchased product together after your gallery will be ready), order any products online through your gallery or make the ordering appointment, meet Aggie back at her studio, go through the products again and make your purchase then.
How long should I wait on images to be edited? How soon do we get the photos? How long after the session can we expect the images?

Please allow a week for your chosen images to be edited (but I usually get them done much quicker).

I will get your gallery to you within 2 weeks of the shoot day. You will then have the opportunity to buy any additional prints or albums & also share the gallery with friends/family.

The waiting period for your finished gallery is 10 days to 3 weeks, depending on how busy Aggie is at the time.

Your images will be emailed to you as a online gallery. Your gallery will stay active for 14 days. You'll be asked to select your favourite images within this time frame. You'll be selecting images for prints or/and digital download, depending on the package you've purchased. Your gallery will also give you an access to an online store, if you would wish to make any additional order.

Depending on the type of work you will receive your pictures within 2 weeks for general shoots, and 6-8 weeks for weddings unless stated otherwise.
How do I can book a session? How do I book?

You can send me a form via the 'Contact' page, book a call with me via the book a call page or alternatively send an email at
What is the process of booking?

Once you send the initial email I will contact you to find out more about your enquiry and then book in to have a call with you. If you'd like to proceed in booking an invoice and contract will be send to you. Once the contract is signed and deposit paid your booking will be confirmed along with receipt of payment.
Do you take deposits?

Yes, in order to have a confirmed booking a deposit is required. If a deposit has not been paid you do not have a secure date and no date will be held
What’s the difference between a full session and a reduced one?

- In a full session we will shoot about 4 looks with a couple of hair changes if you need them.

- In a reduced session we’ll just shoot 2 looks without any hair/facial hair changes (but still taking time beforehand to make sure you’re happy with your hair/tops/make up etc).
What do I get?

I will email you all the shots we take as low res jpegs. This means you can review them on your computer in your own time. I usually send the shots over for you to choose the same day once payment has gone through.

If you lose your low res shots, it’s £25 to re-send them.
Where are you based?

I'm based in SW London.
Do you travel?

I love travelling, and would definitely be open to shooting internationally.
Do you have an insurance?

LittleAggie Photography is covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
How do I pay you?

Bank transfer for the deposit to secure the date and then the remainder on the day by bank transfer.
What should I bring with me? Do I need to bring anything?

You just need yourself, a few changes of top and anything you need to do your hair/make-up

Apart from obvious items that you would normaly take with you, when leaving the house with your baby, you don't need to bring anything else.

If you have a personal item that you wish to add to your shoot and make it more special, please take it with you.
What should I wear?

It's impossible to answer this question as no two people are the same. What I can say is that if you bring plenty of options we can try things out and find what works best.

For beautiful timeless images I recommend a neutral colour palette. Choose colours such as white or beige. Make sure you feel comfortable in whatever you choose. A flowing dress with a lot of movement is a great option. For the baby, a simple dress or playsuit. Remember to bring a few outfit options on the day too.

Please wear airy clothing. Temperature at the studio will be between 26-28°C.

To achieve a timeless look in your photographs, please avoid wearing clothes with big logos and busy patterns. Soft, natural colours will also compliment your baby's skin tone.
How many shots will you take?

We will shoot as many images as we need to (and probably a few more)
How long does it take?

Again, we will take as long as we need but it's generally around 1.5 - 2.5 hours
How long do you keep the shots on file?

I don’t ever delete them so if you want extra edits in the future it's no problem.
Can I have some shots outside?

No, I shoot all of my headshots indoors so that I can guarantee a consistent aesthetic…. and weather.
I have a huge spot on the end of my nose, should I cancel?

No.

Photoshop exists to help out with little things like spots which we all know can pop up at the most inappropriate times.
How long have you been doing this?

Over 10 years professionally
I don't want to pay for extra shots so can I just have extras unedited?

No
Can I edit the shots myself?

No
Can I have the full copyright for my shots?

No, the shots are to promote you as an actor within the industry, I give you permission to do so, but I will always be the owner of the images.
What if I don't like the shots?

We will take our time to review the shots together throughout the session and this will allow us to create the shots you require. If you are honest with yourself and me during the session we can't go wrong. It's important to understand we are working in a subjective industry, not everyone will like my shots. I am at ease with the fact that my work isn't for everybody so please make sure you are before booking.

There are lots of agents (big and small) who recommend me to their clients and there are people who seek out my work because it is imbued with life and stands out from the norm. By the same token, there are people who do not like the way I shoot and there is nothing I can (or want to) do to change that. For this reason it is important that you talk to your agent before you book. If your agent doesn't like my aesthetic and you worry about what they think it's probably best to look at other options.

There is no right to reject on the basis of style, content, composition or editing.
Is there parking on site or nearby?

There is plenty of space to park on the road, and it's free.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Absolutely yes! I’ll get packing! I’ll travel ANYWHERE for an awesome wedding. All of my full-day wedding packages include Mainland UK travel expenses and I love to explore the UK, Europe and the World- I love a destination wedding! Shoot me a message to chat about your plans.
